Program Overview

Designed for senior deck officers preparing for MCA Chief Mate and Master Oral Examinations, this programme develops the command-level judgement, leadership mindset, and technical depth expected of future Masters. Training focuses on ship stability, cargo operations, surveys, ISM, commercial awareness, emergency management, and examiner-style questioning through structured mock oral preparation.

Interactive Case Studies

Examine real-world command scenarios involving cargo operations, stability challenges, commercial pressures, emergency situations, and navigational decision-making.

Ship stability calculations, GZ curves, trim and draft corrections, damage stability principles, vessel construction fundamentals, survey requirements, and dry dock planning expected during MCA Chief Mate and Master oral examinations.

Master's responsibilities, ISM Code implementation, internal audits, casualty investigations, MARPOL compliance, statutory records, and command leadership during emergency situations.

Command-level passage planning, ECDIS management, weather routing, bridge resource management, navigational risk assessment, and decision-making during restricted visibility and heavy weather operations.
